1. Handicap Index
limitations are: Championship and One-Day Stroke –
26.0, Better-Ball of Pairs and Senior Better-Ball of
Pairs – 33.0
2. The playing field is
limited to the lowest 80applicants for Championship:
the 100 lowest applicants for the One Day Stroke,
56 two-woman teams (112 players) for the Better-Ball
of Pairs and the Senior Better-Ball of Pairs.
3. Participants are
accepted with Handicap Index as of closing entry date.
4. For the
Championship and One Day Stroke, players are
accepted from the lowest USGA Handicap Index up to the
capacity of the field. In the event of identical
Handicap Indexes, acceptance will be determined by
differentials. Current Handicap Indexes are used up to
the limit of the accepted playing field. For the
Better-Ball of Pairs and the Senior Better-Ball
of Pairs, if the field is oversubscribed, players
will be determined by blind draw. 95% of full Host
Course Handicap Index will be allowed for Better-Ball
of Pairs and Senior Better-Ball of Pairs.
5. For the Better-Ball
of Pairs and Senior Better- Ball of Pairs
tournaments, if the field is oversubscribed and one
member of the team withdraws, the team will be replaced
with an alternate team from the waiting list. If there
are no alternates, the remaining member of the team may
select her own replacement as long as the replacement’s
Handicap Index is acceptable.
6. If a winner is unable
to stay for the awarding of prizes, she may ask someone
to choose for her after all other winners have chosen.
If she fails to ask someone, she relinquishes her prize.
7. A refund will not be
made unless cancellation is received by the date
specified on the tournament entry form.
8. The deadline for entry
means date of receipt by the CWDGA Championship or
Tournament Chairman, not the date of postmark. Entries
should not be received prior to the dates specified on
the entry forms.
9. If caddies are
available, a contestant must use a caddie or a cart with
a caddie provided by the host club. Contestants may not
provide their own caddies.
