1. The Committee: The
Committee is the CWDGA and is represented at all
competitions by the uniformed CWDGA officials present at
the competition. Host club officers and personnel are
not members of the Committee.
2. Handicaps: Handicap records received by the CWDGA
from the USGA Handicap System are used for all
competitions.
3. Club Representation: Competition in all events is
limited to eligible players from CWDGA member clubs. A
player who may be a member of more than one club shall
select the club that she shall represent in all CWDGA
competitions and shall not be permitted to make any
change during the year unless permission is granted by
the CWDGA Board of Directors.
4. Decorum & Dress: Tournament and team players are
guests of the host clubs and should conduct themselves
in an appropriate manner. Good taste in women's dress is
essential. The CWDGA conforms to the requirements of the
individual clubs. Sport shirts and slacks, Bermuda
shorts or golf skirts are to be worn. Short shorts,
tennis skirts, jeans and tank tops are not allowed. Most
clubs prohibit metal spikes on golf shoes.
5. Local Rules: All Local Rules of the club hosting the
competition that are printed on the club’s scorecard are
adopted for the competition unless otherwise posted in
writing by the Committee.
6. Cellular Phones: Refer to Instructions Governing

7. Distance- Measuring Devices: Refer to Instructions

8. Caddies/Carts: Refer to Instructions Governing
Four-Ball Match Play and Tournament Play.
9. Slow Play: Pursuant to USGA Rule 6-7, the CWDGA has
established the following pace of play guidelines. A
group of four players is expected to take no more than
15 minutes per hole - 4 hours and 30 minutes per round
to play. Any group that fails to hold its position on
the course will be alerted and requested to play at a
faster pace. After being warned, the group will be
monitored. The time each player takes to play each
stroke will be recorded. Any player in a group out of
position that takes more than 45 seconds to play a
stroke on two occasions will be advised of that fact and
told that if she exceeds the time limit on two more
shots, she will incur the penalty provided in Rule 6-7.
